In 2008 and in 2009, the public awarded Adam Reid with a nomination within the "Top Ten Best Local Actors" in the publication "Montreal Mirror". That success didn't come easy, but it did date back to quite sometime ago.
Acting has always been an important part of Adam's life and what sets Adam Reid apart is his approach to acting. . He focused his energy and passion in high school in Drama class which led to working his techniques under the guidance of renowned Montreal acting coach Dale Hayes for four years at the "Montreal School of Performing Arts". Adam quickly picked up different acting techniques which allowed him to work put then into practice on the film circuit. After gathering the necessary credits to become a full member of ACTRA, Adam once again showcased just how versatile he was in acting.
Adam landed his first role as "Adil Chakraoui" in CTV's "The Terrorist Next Door", then became "LUC" in a widely popular French independent film entitled "Allumez Vos Phares" and recently played the role of a police officer in "Look Again" produced by Incendo. He was also hired to work the local Quebecois movie scene in "A Vos Marques Party 2".
Adam's talent doesn't only stop at movies, he has also been hired for commercials which include; "Videotron", "Government of Canada", "Brault & Martineault", "Loto-Quebec. Equally important as it is to work for Adam Reid is the importance of training and education in theatre/acting. Adam recently trained with Jacqueline Maclintock, one of Toronto’s most esteemed acting coaches, on the “Meisner Technique”.
Adam has the unique branding and marketing capability to cross over within both spectrums and producers have taken notice.
Adam's drive, ambition and desire to achieve is so compelling that it will be featured in documentary entitled "FOOSERS" which chronicles the true story of the Canadian foosball team's journey to the first ever World Cup of Table Soccer and his dream.
